If you are an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into income, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) founded by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his online learning platform with features he envisioned his courses and students could enjoy after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for approximately $250M.

  • 5% transaction fees
  • There’s a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being very confused about the crowd. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out. Akin to a duck testing the waters .

You don’t need to worry about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to look after taxes, payouts, affiliates, and writers. So all you’ve got to worry about is making the content that you want to sell.
