If you’re an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into income, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, grew frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed. So, he decided to create his own online learning platform with features he envisioned his classes and students would enjoy.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for about $250M.

  • 5% transaction fees
  • There is a 5% transaction fee for people who opt for the Basic plan.

Why should you try it?

I am not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the crowd. But with Teachable, I found it fairly easy. Akin to a duck testing the waters first, It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out.
