Nairobi Swahili Teachable

teachable-review

Teachable is the platform for you if you are an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into earnings.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) founded by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a course builder himself, decided to create his own online learning platform with characteristics he envisioned his classes and students could enjoy after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for about $250M.

Here are some of the features I enjoyed in Teachable:

Ease of Use

Teachable’s best feature is being less of a technician hassle and more of being your partner-in-arms to a company.

As mentioned earlier, Teachable prides itself on its ease of use. Tech beginners will find it easy to go around and operate the course.

When you register on the site, it leads you to the dashboard. There you will see headers such as users, sites, sales, emails, and courses. It is pretty straightforward. It is easier for the user to upload files, review analytics, issue refunds, and communicate with students.

It is possible to incorporate as many tools as you need as Teachable’s list of partners is pretty extensive. You’ll also find that it is easy to create multimedia lectures, videos, homepage, and landing pages using their power editor.

Users can select to make an attractive landing page with Teachable’s large selection of themes for your online course site. All you’ve got to do is upload the logos, text, images and choose color schemes to fit your business’ branding.

Here are a few things I don’t like about Teachable now that I’ve talked about what I enjoyed about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable doesn’t have a free plan. However, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5 percent transaction fees
  • There’s a 5% transaction fee for people who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone service.
  • There’s no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the bunch. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. It does take some time to explore the website, its features, and test stuff out. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first.

You can teach how you would like to learn by utilizing customization tools to personalize your content. Nairobi Swahili Teachable

You don’t need to worry about marketing. All you’ve got to worry about is making the content you want to sell since Teachable has built-in features to look after taxes, payouts, affiliates, and authors.

To Sum It Up

Teachable is an approachable platform for complete beginners and busy entrepreneurs who want to concentrate more on course production than the business’s tech and marketing aspect.

Teachable helps you turn the online courses you may make on any topic you love into a company. Why not start today?
