If you’re an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into income, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a course builder himself, decided to create his own online learning platform with characteristics that he envisioned his classes and students could like after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for about $250M.

  • 5 percent transaction fees
  • There’s a 5% transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I’ve had many a day being very confused about the crowd. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. Akin to a duck testing the waters first, It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out.
