Teachable is the platform for you if you’re an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into income.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) founded by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his own online learning platform with characteristics he envisioned his classes and students would enjoy after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for about $250M.

Here are some things I do not like about Teachable now that I have talked about what I enjoyed about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable doesn’t have a totally free plan. But, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5 percent transaction fees
  • There’s a 5 percent transaction fee for people who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone support.
  • There is no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you try it?

I am not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the bunch. But with Teachable, I found it reasonably easy. It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out. Comparable to a duck testing the waters .

You can teach the way you would like to know by utilizing customization tools to personalize your content. Socrates Is Virtue Teachable

You don’t need to think about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to look after payouts, taxes, affiliates, and authors. So all you have to worry about is creating the content you want to sell.

To Sum It Up
