If you are an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into earnings, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) founded by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his online learning platform with features he envisioned his courses and students could like after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for approximately $250M.

Now that I’ve talked about what I liked about Teachable, here are a few things I don’t like:

  • Teachable doesn’t have a free plan. But, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5% transaction fees
  • There is a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone service.
  • There is no telephone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you try it?

I’m not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I’ve had many a day being very confused about the crowd. But with Teachable, I found it reasonably easy. Akin to a duck testing the waters first, It does take some time to explore the website, its features, and test stuff out.

You can teach how you would like to learn by utilizing customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable Add Form To Page

You don’t have to worry about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to take care of taxes, payouts, affiliates, and authors. So all you have to worry about is creating the content that you want to sell.
