Teachable is the platform for you if you’re an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into income.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a course builder himself, decided to create his own online learning platform with features that he envisioned his courses and students could like after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for about $250M.

Here are some things I do not like about Teachable now that I’ve talked about what I liked about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable does not have a free plan. But, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5% transaction fees
  • There is a 5 percent transaction fee for people who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone support.
  • There’s no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the bunch. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly easy. Comparable to a duck testing the waters , It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out.

You can teach how you would like to know by using customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable Api

You don’t have to think about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to take care of taxes, payouts, affiliates, and writers. So all you’ve got to worry about is making the content that you wish to sell.
