Teachable is the platform for you if you are an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into earnings.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) founded by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his online learning platform with characteristics he envisioned his courses and students would enjoy after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for about $250M.

Here are some of the features I liked in Teachable:

Now that I’ve talked about what I enjoyed about Teachable, here are some things I don’t like:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable doesn’t have a totally free plan. But, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5 percent transaction fees
  • There’s a 5% transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone service.
  • There is no phone number to contact for queries.

Why should you try it?

I am not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the crowd. But with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. It does take some time to explore the website, its features, and test stuff out. Comparable to a duck testing the waters .

You can teach the way you want to know by utilizing customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable, Connect To WordPress Site

You don’t have to think about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to take care of taxes, payouts, affiliates, and authors. So all you have to worry about is creating the content that you want to sell.

To Sum It Up
