If you’re an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into earnings, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a course builder himself, decided to create his online learning platform with features he envisioned his classes and students could like after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms had.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for about $250M.

Here are a few things I do not like about Teachable now that I’ve talked about what I enjoyed about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable does not have a totally free plan. But, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5% transaction fees
  • There is a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone support.
  • There is no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you try it?

I’m not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I’ve had many a day being the most confused about the bunch. But with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. It does take a while to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first.

You can teach how you would like to know by using customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable Figure Painting Course

You don’t need to think about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to look after taxes, payouts, affiliates, and writers. So all you have to worry about is making the content you wish to sell.

To Sum It Up

Teachable is an approachable platform for complete beginners and busy entrepreneurs who wish to concentrate more on course production than the business’s tech and marketing aspect.

You can create your online course on any topic you love, and Teachable helps you turn that into a business. Why not start now?
