Teachable is the platform for you if you’re an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into earnings.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, grew frustrated over the lack of direct accessibility to students some platforms needed. So, he decided to create his own online learning platform with features he envisioned his courses and students could enjoy.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for about $250M.

Here are some things I don’t like about Teachable now that I have talked about what I enjoyed about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable does not have a free plan. However, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5% transaction fees
  • There’s a 5 percent transaction fee for people who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone support.
  • There is no telephone number to contact for queries.

Why should you attempt it?

I’m not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I’ve had many a day being very confused about the crowd. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. It does take some time to explore the website, its features, and test stuff out. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first.

You can teach how you would like to know by utilizing customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable Quiz Scores

You don’t have to worry about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to take care of taxes, payouts, affiliates, and authors. So all you have to worry about is creating the content that you want to sell.
