Teachable is the platform for you if you’re an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into earnings.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a course builder himself, grew frustrated over the lack of direct accessibility to students some platforms had. So, he decided to create his online learning platform with characteristics he envisioned his classes and students could enjoy.

In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for about $250M.

Here are some things I do not like about Teachable now that I’ve talked about what I enjoyed about it:

  • 5% transaction fees
  • There’s a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.

  • There’s no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the crowd. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly simple. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first, It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out.

You can teach how you would like to know by using customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable Syn

You don’t need to worry about marketing. All you’ve got to worry about is creating the content you want to sell since Teachable has built-in features to look after payouts, taxes, affiliates, and writers.
