If you’re an entrepreneur or content creator looking for a way to transform knowledge into income, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, grew frustrated over the lack of direct accessibility to students some platforms had. So, he decided to create his own online learning platform with features that he envisioned his classes and students could enjoy.

In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart acquired Teachable for approximately $250M.

Here are a few things I don’t like about Teachable now that I have talked about what I liked about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable does not have a free plan. But, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5 percent transaction fees
  • There’s a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone service.
  • There’s no telephone number to contact for queries.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I’ve had many a day being the most confused about the crowd. However, with Teachable, I found it fairly easy. Comparable to a duck testing the waters , It does take some time to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out.

You can teach the way you want to know by using customization tools to personalize your content. Team View In Teachable

You don’t need to think about marketing. Teachable has built-in features to look after payouts, taxes, affiliates, and writers. So all you’ve got to worry about is creating the content that you wish to sell.

To Sum It Up

Teachable is an approachable platform for complete beginners and busy entrepreneurs who want to concentrate more on course creation than the business’s technology and marketing aspect.

You can create your online course on any topic you love, and Teachable helps you turn that into a company. Why not start now?
