If you’re an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into earnings, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously known as Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, grew frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed. He decided to create his own online learning platform with features he envisioned his classes and students would like.

In 2020, sources state that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for about $250M.

As mentioned previously, Teachable prides itself on its simplicity of use. Tech novices will find it easy to go around and operate the course.

Now that I’ve talked about what I enjoyed about Teachable, here are a few things I don’t like:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable doesn’t have a totally free plan. However, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5% transaction fees
  • There is a 5 percent transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone service.
  • There is no phone number to contact for inquiries.

Why should you attempt it?

I am not the most tech-savvy person out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being the most confused about the crowd. But with Teachable, I found it fairly easy. It does take a while to explore the web site, its features, and test stuff out. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first.

You can teach how you want to know by using customization tools to personalize your content. Weekly Teachable Webinar

You don’t need to think about marketing. All you’ve got to worry about is creating the content that you want to sell since Teachable has built-in features to look after payouts, taxes, affiliates, and authors.

To Sum It Up
