If you’re an entrepreneur or content creator searching for a way to transform knowledge into earnings, Teachable is the platform for you.

Teachable is a learning management system (LMS) based by Angkur Nagpal as a side project. It was previously called Fedora. Nagpal, a class builder himself, decided to create his online learning platform with characteristics that he envisioned his courses and students could enjoy after getting frustrated over the lack of direct access to students some platforms needed.

In 2020, sources say that Hotsmart obtained Teachable for approximately $250M.

Here are a few things I don’t like about Teachable now that I’ve talked about what I liked about it:

  • No free plans.
  • Teachable doesn’t have a totally free plan. However, it does offer a 14-day trial.
  • 5 percent transaction fees
  • There is a 5% transaction fee for those who opt for the Basic plan.
  • No phone support.
  • There is no telephone number to contact for queries.

Why should you try it?

I’m not the most tech-savvy man out there. Far from it, actually. I have had many a day being very confused about the bunch. However, with Teachable, I found it reasonably easy. Comparable to a duck testing the waters first, It does take some time to explore the website, its features, and test stuff out.

You can teach how you would like to know by utilizing customization tools to personalize your content. Teachable Quiz Types

You don’t have to worry about marketing. All you’ve got to worry about is making the content you want to sell since Teachable has built-in features to take care of taxes, payouts, affiliates, and writers.
